Errors in the Book
After having written a book I can easily understand how errors can slip through the cracks and end up in the final copy, especially with a book of this type with so much detail. Great effort was made in editing to avoid any problems but some errors were able to slip through none the less. Hopefully all the errors in the first print have been flagged by either myself, or readers. They have been recorded, corrected and sent to the publisher for inclusion in the second printing. A complete copy of these errors is included in the errata PDF which can be downloaded and printed out. There were a couple of areas where text was added for clarification, these are also included in the PDF. If you have found additional errors please do not hesitate to send along an email describing the error, and exactly where it was found.
The fret placement numbers in the first printing of the book and the first few batches of plans that were sold were in error. It seems that numbers for a different scale length were used and this somehow slipped past everyone including me. Hopefully everyone took my suggestion and purchased a pre-slotted 650 scale length fingerboard for their project. This was corrected long ago and I think we were able to catch it in time to prevent any real problems with anyone's project. The corrected fret placement numbers are contained in the PDF file which can be downloaded using the link below. The overall drawing is correct just the numbers for the fret placement are incorrect. This error along with its correction has been sent to the publisher and will be corrected in the second printing. This has also been corrected long ago in the plans available on my site, and those from guitar making supply houses. I apologize for this error and any inconvenience this nay have caused anyone.

I would just like to thanks everyone that sent along a note, or an email, with error correction information. Although I have gone through the book many times searching for errors, the list of known errors would not be as complete as it is if it were not for the efforts of all the readers that passed along this information.
